Japanese Noh Theater

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXNOTFGOP7Y&feature=related

From this video and a few other clips I checked out, Japanese Noh usually consists of four to five musicians playing along with the actors. The instruments typically found are drums and flutes. From what I've seen there are usually two drummers and multiple flautists. There are several singers and they are typically men. The vocal part almost sounds like a chant with bursts of high pitches. A few of the singers sounded like they were using melismas.

The music throughout the play sounds like it's nonpulsatile. It also seems like the actor's movements go along with the vocal part.
